REPLACEMENT
This project consists of the following improvements:
Pipe Reaming: 1480 L.F. replacement of a 12-inch clay pipe with a 24-inch HDPE pipe utilizing the pipe reaming method.
Open Cut Sewer Replacement: 160 L.F. replacement of 12-inch clay pipe with a 24-inch PVC pipe utilizing an open cut method.
Remove and Replace Manoles: 2 manholes replaced on Pipe Reaming portion and 3 manholes replaced at various locations.
Rehabilitate Manholes: 3 manholes rehabilitated on Front Street.
Abandon Manholes: 2 manholes abandoned on Front Street.
Specifications and other contract documents are the property of the City of Salina, Kansas, and are available for public inspection at the office of the Director of Utilities, City-County Building, Room 205, 300 W. Ash St., Salina, KS 67401, and may be obtained from them for a fee of $20.00 for each set of specifications. There will be no refunds.
Bids will be accepted at the City Clerk’s Office, City-County Building, Room 206, 300 W. Ash, P.O. Box 736, Salina, Kansas, 67402, until 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in Room 107. No faxed bids will be accepted. Late bids will be returned unopened.
