A Salina man was arrested at his home early Friday after being accused of earlier going to his former girlfriend’s residence, arguing with her and taking her cellular phone.
Jonathan T. Dong, 36, 329 W. Republic, was arrested on charges of robbery and domestic battery.
Lt. Gerald Shaft said Dong told officers that he had been out drinking. Shortly before 2 a.m., a woman called 911 and said Dong had climbed over her balcony and gotten inside the residence, located in the 2500 block of S. Ohio, without her permission. When the officers arrived, she said he had left and taken her phone. The woman was not injured.
