OAK HILL -- James C. Colton, 81, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009. He was born April 12, 1928, in Cloud County to Victor and Florence (Bellows) Colton. Preceded in death by: wife, Delma; four brothers; and a sister. Survivors: son, Lon (Karen), of Oak Hill; daughter, Glenda Strange (Bob), of Garland, Texas; sisters, Althea Pellant (John), Margaret Louthan, Doris Turner (Doyle) and Bernita Lippe (Dwight); brother, Byron (Marcia); and four grandchildren. Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Phelps Funeral Home, Miltonvale. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at Christian Church, Miltonvale. Memorials: church or Rebecca Morrison House, Salina.
