Elgie N. Cooper, 63, of Salina, passed away Friday, March 19, 2010. Elgie Cooper was born April 30, 1946, in Keytesville, Mo., to the late William Vaden and Mary Louzetta (Scott) Cooper. He had worked at the Ramada Inn, Salina, and at J.C.'s Bar & Grill, Salina, for many years.

Survivors include sisters, Beverly Harding, of Wichita, and Rosemary (Dave) Geering, of Salina; brothers, Ronald (Patty) Cooper, of Douglas, and Stephen Cooper, of Salina; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, at the Ramada Inn, in Salina. The family requests memorials be made to the Hospice of Salina, 730 Holly Lane, P.O. Box 2238, Salina 67401.
