HAYS -- Alene K. Meskimen, 58, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012. She was born Sept. 15, 1953, in Garden City to Allan D. and Mollie E. (Sewell) Meskimen. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her significant other, Charles S. Riedell; three foster daughters, Doreen Kinderknecht, Maggie Conant and Shanon Owens, all of Hays; a cousin, Connie Meskimen; and a foster granddaughter, Savannah Desbin.
The family will receive friends 1:30-2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at Cline's Mortuary, Hays. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Memorials may go to the Alene Meskimen family. Condolences can be sent to clinesmortuary@eaglecom.net.
