HILL CITY - Florence R. Burton, 94, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012. She was born Nov. 30, 1917. She was preceded by her husband, Farrel; five brothers; three sisters; and a grandson, Terry Paxson. She is survived by her son, Gary, of WaKeeney; daughters, Jan Bell and Rea Paxson, both of Penokee; sister, Fern King, of Hill City; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, and 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City. The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials to: Hill City United Methodist Church or Dawson Place Nursing Home, in care of funeral home.
