OLATHE - Howard B. Peters, 65, formerly of Hays, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012. He was born Dec. 6, 1946. He is survived by his wife, Kristen; daughter, Steph Niernberger; five sons, Chuck, Dan, Nick, PJ and Jason Peters; a sister, Margene Nickel; and 20 grandchildren. The family will greet friends Friday from 3-4 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hays. Service will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the church.
