Norma J. Novotny

McPHERSON -- Norma J. Novotny, 79, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009. She was born April 28, 1930, in rural Narka to Arnold and Bessie (Fiala) Novotny. Survivors: daughters, Anita Dunham and Michele Simpson, both of McPherson, and Marsha Morley, of Kalamazoo, Mich.; sisters, Lorene Koukol and Amy Morehead (George); brothers, Paul (Carrol) and Jim Novotny; and seven grandchildren.

Preceded in death: son, Wendell. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Glidden-Ediger Funeral Home Chapel, McPherson, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at First Christian Church, McPherson. Memorials: Meals on Wheels, McPherson, in care of the funeral home.
