Kansas City, Mo.:  (October 29, 2009) – Four Kansas rodeos were presented awards at the annual Dodge Prairie Circuit Finals Rodeo hosted by the American Royal in Kansas City October 22-24.
 
The Abbyville, Kansas rodeo won Small Rodeo of the Year (prize money up to $9,999), the Bennington, Kansas rodeo won Medium Rodeo of the Year (prize money from $10,000 to $19,999) and the Phillipsburg rodeo won Large Rodeo of the Year (prize money $20,000 and more.)  In addition, theCoffeyville, Kansas rodeo won Most Improved Rodeo of the Year.
 
The awards are presented annually in recognition of each committee’s work in producing a quality event.
 
Each rodeo will receive a custom made trophy belt buckle in a display case, made by Montana Silversmith and engraved with the committee’s name.
